In this personal piece, I wanted to design a functional piece of furniture that was easy to maintain and comfortable. I wanted the bench to work with an existing table so I used the width of the table and height of the chairs around it to design my bench. I used plywood and metal brackets for support. I then inlaid felt to make the bench comfortable and easy to remove for cleaning. The final dimensions of the bench are 18 inches tall x 36 inches wide.
